As a special thanks to the public for its support throughout the year, the Dallas Zoo is bringing back its annual Dollar Day on July 2, when zoo admission will be just $1. Children 2 and under and Dallas Zoological Society members still get free admission.

Dollar deals extend through the entire park, including $1 food items such as hot dogs, chips, water, popcorn, and snow cones.

The Zoofari Market will feature discount deals on drinks, snacks, and souvenirs including $1 clearance items.

To maximize the savings of Dollar Day, the Dallas Zoo is encouraging guest to ride the Dallas Area rapid Transit (DART) Red Line to avoid traffic and the $5 parking fee.

During last year’s Dollar Day, the zoo broke its all-time single-day attendance record with more than 34,000 visitors.

For more information, visitors can check out the zoo’s website or call (214) 670-5656.
