I have not eaten there yet but will in a few days. I just found this place. I spent 13 months in Afghanistan and was able to eat many times with the local villagers. The food was awesome so check back in a few days for a comparison!

I was longing to try Afghani food since the first time I drove past this quaint-looking restaurant on Preston road, and when I finally made the time to do so I was not disappointed.
The colorful interior decor, the giant hooka, the friendly staff, and the fragrant smells welcomed me into the restaurant and the food did not disappoint in the least. I had several questions about the cuisine and my waiter was more than happy to indulge my curiosity about preparation and the spices used.
The price was very reasonable, the dinner was delicious, and the staff were charmingly helpful. I highly recommend this dining experience.
Pros: Delicious food, great price, excellent staff
Cons: None that I can think of...
Great atmosphere & superb food!

This is the first restaurant in the DFW area offering Afghan cuisine. When I heard about it, I rushed over there to try it out and I was not disappointed. The decor is typical of a bistro-style restaurant with a special dining area when you can sit and eat in traditional Afghan style.
The lunch buffet was excellent and consisted of various grilled kabobs, stews, salads, and rice. I was very impressed with the unique taste of Afghan food.
