In the low key black and white visual style of Hollywood's classic film noir period, Fedora borrows a liberal slice from this genre's hardboiled school of crime fiction, in both attitude and interior. The sexy location in the One Arts Plaza is a perfect backdrop to showcase a menu of classic interpretations of Italian pastas, pizzas, and other traditional dishes inspired by passion and panache of all things Italian. Owner Gina Campisi comes from one of Dallas' most notorious restaurant families, and has spent most of her formative years supporting and working in the family business. "I figured that it was time to start my own legacy in the restaurant world, and happened to meet up with a few folks who had a similar vision that jump started this whole concept," stated Campisi. "Obviously I have a lot to live up to, but this is something that I can call my own.."

Good Service - Not Impressed w/Food
Reviewed by miki1900 on 2009-08-02T07:55:56Z

My boyfriend and I dropped off our car w/the valet, entered Fedora's early (around 6:30). We went straight to our table as the restaurant was fairly empty. The ambiance was nice and our server was personable. However, the only food item we liked was the bruschetta. I ordered the seared tuna and it was overcooked. It was served w/a sauce that didn't compliment the ahi. It was down right disgusting! My boyfriend ordered the pork chop and it was extremely flavorless. If you want good service and good food, go to the Screen Door next door.

Pros: Good decor, great service, food presentation, parking

Cons: Food

Best Drinks in town!

Well our service was fantastic but even if it would of been worse i would still be back. we also had to wait a while for a table but it was worth the wait. We had drinks made with fresh mango and peaches, and our bartender told us they made their own grenadine and were in the process of making their own bitters which my husband found pretty cool. The egg white in the pisco sour was interesting but worth the try. Pizza was great, we didn't really try any of the entrees but we'll be back to do so and we'll make a reservation.

Pros: cocktail menu, price, service

Cons: wait for a table

Terrible service

The decor is cool, but the service was unbelieveable poor. It any of the staff has had 1 hour of training in the hospitality industry, I would be shocked. Food was good, but not enough to outweight the horrible service.

Pros: Ambience

Cons: service

great spot for a girls night out

My friends and I decided to give Fedora a chance last weekend and loved it! The decor was chic, the food was delicious and all the bartenders were super cute! I would defininitly go again.

Pros: Food, ambience

Cons: Small Dinning Room, not a lot of private tables

besides the 1 hour wait to get a table, everything was fantastic (it might of been extra good due to the 3 cocktails we had while waiting for a table) prices were very fair and we didn't spend a fortune on a bottle of wine (good red was 33$ for the bottle) service was amazing, we'll be back!

Pros: Cocktail menu, wine menu, price

Cons: wait for a table.....make reservations!
