At 49 I am working part time in nursing and spending as much of my other time in art as is possible. I married recently and changed both names so my work will often be signed Beverly Norman or B. Gross. New and improved name is Annie Kobus.
I have loved and practiced art since early childhood but found it a grave improvement to study art at East Texas State University (now TX A&M). I love to paint, draw, write poetry and songs, and sculpt outrageous figures. My styles range from extremely vivid and colorful abstract mixed media paintings to portraits in graphite. Writings range from simple prose to essays and, I am writing a book, though I am currently stuck in a writer's block. My sculpture is usually a bizarre product of some crisis or otherwise significant event. I adhere representational items together in a way that shows some sequence of events, thus it tells a story, as do my paintings
I love feedback and critiques so give me both barrels if you like.
All of the art posted on this site can be yours so just zap me an email via this site and I will contact you with my price list. I do work very reasonably on commission so don't hesitate to contact me.
