Bishop Lynch High School Reviews

Bishop Lynch is a top notch Catholic prep school. They offer a wide range of academic and elective courses that keep the students challenged. It is nice to have a Catholic college prep school that welcomes students of all abilities. It is warm and welcoming, not elitist. My daughter graduated with 40 hours of dual enrolled credit which allowed her to start college at the second year level and launch right into her major area of study. It is such a well rounded environment of academics, sports, art, and clubs.

Bishop Lynch is a fabulous private school. Our daughter excelled in her classes. Her wonderful teachers were supportive, understanding, and very kind. The faculty was amazing. Our concerns and misconceptions were always greeted with accurate information with follow-ups to boot. We love this private school.

Bishop lynch is truely one of the premier High Schools in the D/FW Metroplex and all of Texas. I have graduated one and have one currently enrolled (and one to come). We all want our kids to excel. BL is outstanding at teaching academics, but more importantly BL teaches our kids how to be leaders and believe in themselves. BL is the best decision I ever made for the development of my children!

BL helped prepare me for college and many other things. Although most teachers were focused on education you will find that some teachers can be focused more on discipline and sports. BL definitely centers around athletics but even though there is not much recognition for other extracurricular activities, there are many ways for students to get involved and spend there time in high school the way they want to.

Excellent college prep school. BL offers dual enrollment courses which allows students to graduate with college credits. Much better than the usual AP courses other schools offer. Our daughter will graduate this year and enter a top notch college next year as a sophomore due to all the college credits she has earned. Wonderful experience you can not get at the 'other' Catholic high school.

i received an excellent education at bishop lynch. i would recommend the school for the latin courses alone. the language program and the study regimen for outside assignment were great for preparing me for college. i went on to get master of science and a master of arts after attending bishop lynch. the scholastics were so strong, I never cracked a book in my first two years of college.

Bishopy lynch, although is smart in tapps, not as smart as other private high schools. the school can be tough, but only if you take the right courses. Good at basketball. kids are wild and smoke a lot of weed so, be observant.

as a student at Bishop Lynchi do believe that i have a pretty accurate view of our school. at the moment im a freshman (class of 2007)and from my observations of this year,it seems to me that the teachers dont really pay much attention to their students...there are teachers who just teach for the money, teachers who teach for the recognition and then there's one teacher that just LOVES giving uniform citations. He spends more time scouting the halls trying to find whats wrong with you and your uniform(by now i think all blhs students know what teacher im talking about)than actually teaching. Upon visiting BL, you'll find that it is a very nicely put together high school, but once youre here you soon realize that the school revolves around the cheerleaders, football, and basketball players. These athletes shouldnt take offense to what ive said because i was a cheerleader this year...

Ok, as a student at Bishop Lynch, I can honestly confirm that Bishop Lynch is a school focused on sports (mostly football) and discipline! one time at an assembly, when we were supposed to be congratulating all of the athletics, 3/4 of the assembly was concentrated on football. it actually made us late for lunch and the first lunch only got about 10 minutes to eat and the others got the normal 30. the teachers are so much easier on the football players, discipline wise and education wise. it is almost like they dont care what they are doing. it should be a school concentrated on education not sports. can i get a little equality here?!

As a former graduate of this school, Bishop Lynch's facility and staff prepared me for the days ahead in college. I will never forget my teachers, and the guidance I recieved from the school is still apart of my life today.

Bishop Lynch has great teachers although they tend to lack some quality in the administrative dept. Although the school is a Catholic private school their focus is more on education. Their current dean of students, lacks some experience with our youth. They have great parent participation during football season.

My daughter graduated last year from this wonderful school. It was the absolute best experience for both of us. I truly miss being a part of the community this year. I commend the BL faculty and staff for an outstanding four years.

Excellent private high school in east Dallas. Combination of dedicated teachers, parents and students with the school's strict no-tolerance policy and Catholic orientation provide for a high quality education. Very expensive, but worth it for the serious student.
