“My youngest sister, 13, attends and is in the Intermediate grade. The school consists of 2 Primary classes, Intermediate classes (4 groups), Bridges, and Vocational classes. The school, for students with special needs, ranges from ages 6-21. Each classroom has 1 teacher and 1 aide. At first my parents were less than eager to place my sister in this school, (she had been in a public school up until the age of 11) worried that she may pick up 'bad habits' but she is learning what she never could if she had moved on to junior high in the public schools. Not only is she thriving academically, but Notre Dame has many sports and clubs, as well as dances! Sports include cheerleading, bowling, basketball, and soccer.”
