San Antonio is also home to Austin Psych Fest, a musician-led nonprofit that seeks to educate and empower Texas musicians by organizing events throughout the year, including seminars, performances, mixers, showcases and fundraisers. Austin Psych Fest was founded in 2012 to celebrate the emergence of music, multimedia and art festivals.

The House of Blues in Dallas - Fort Worth, which is the venue itself, offers a number of events for the local music community.
